Nova Place Wins ULI Award

It is with much honor and excitement that we announce that Nova Place was the winner of the Award for Excellence of a Visionary Place by the Urban Land Institute of Pittsburgh.

This award recognizes the vision for a place currently under development promising significant impact on lifestyle and the region.

Placemaking is defined as a multi-faceted approach to the planning, design, and management of public spaces, in particular, embracing the creation of spaces that promote people’s health, happiness, and well-being. Established in 1936, the Institute has almost 40,000 members from 92 countries representing the entire spectrum of land use and real estate development disciplines. The Urban Land Institute is an independent nonprofit education and research organization.

The Urban Land Institute has devoted a two-year body of work to its Building Healthy Places Initiative, which will examine how urban design and development can contribute to living environments that are conducive to active lifestyles, social interaction, and prosperity. Through the initiative, ULI is leveraging the power of its global networks to shape projects and places that improve the health of people and communities.

We thank everyone on our team who has helped with the redevelopment of Nova Place.
