Faros Properties' Nova Place was proud to have partnered with Audacy, The Fan, KDKA, Wamo 107.3 in supporting #PittsburghForPPS (Pittsburgh Public Schools) with their back-to-school backpack drive!

Several businesses across the city had their own backpack drives to collect backpacks for the final Backpack Brigade at Acrisure Stadium on Monday, August 18th!

At this event, cars lined up to pick up their school supplies, in addition to experiencing other back-to-school happenings/ resources for local youth and their families.

Among the additional offerings were free haircuts and styles from local salons and barbers from Quality Cuts, manicure stations, essentials gift bags from Summit Procurement and the Heyward House, in addition to a book giveaway from RIF (Reading is Fundamental), and more!

Together, these contributions ensured that local students will look, feel, and be set-up for success on their first day of school!

Nova Places’ drive collected the most backpacks of any business in the 2025 drive! Thank you to all who made this possible! Because of you, Pittsburgh students are set up for success, and we know this school year will be an excellent one!
