Ice Skating at PPG Place

Nationality Rooms

Come out and see how Christmas is celebrated around the world! The University of Pittsburgh is hosting the nationality classrooms in the Cathedral of Learning through the middle of January. Each of the 26 rooms is decorated to represent the traditional holiday styles of different countries around the world. This display represents the diverse ethnic heritage of Pittsburgh and gives each viewer a sense of holiday cheer!


Kennywood’s Holiday Light Show

It’s the most wonderful time of year and Kennywood is open again for their annual holiday light show. With close to 2 million dazzling lights, America’s Finest Traditional Amusement Park transforms into a Christmas wonderland. You will have the chance to hear great Christmas music from local choirs as well as meet Santa and take a ride on the Gingerbread Express. Don’t miss out on this incredible light show! Pittsburgh Christmas Market

Pittsburgh’s Pop-Up Market is the perfect place to get ready for the holidays in the city! With a variety of different vendors selling unique Christmas gifts, you might be able to complete your shopping list with some of the cool items the pop-up market has to offer. Located in Market Square, there are also many different food and drink options to along with your day of shopping. You can also visit Santa and maybe even talk a short walk over to PPG Place for some ice-skating!
