CLAYSVILLE, PA – April 19, 2016 – In response to continued growth of its three interrelated brands, the Newton family of companies has signed on to become one of the latest office tenants of Nova Place, Pittsburgh’s newest urban redevelopment project, located on its Northside.

“Establishing this vibrant, new space downtown will provide us a great place to collaborate – both within and across the Newton teams,” said Rick Newton, president and founder of the Newton family of companies. “It’s an exciting time of expansion as we open this additional office for our Newton Consulting, Newton Talent, and Center for Serving Leadership organizations. This investment represents a strong belief in all of our people and that we are on the right track toward achieving our collective strategic objectives.”

Newton’s office space at Nova Place will span approximately 7,200 square feet and include highly functional areas for team collaboration, formal meetings, and casual gatherings. Facing south, with views of downtown Pittsburgh, the space will have dedicated offices and open workstations to accommodate 35 people. Buildout of the office space is slated for completion later this fall.

“Our priority in developing this new space is to ensure our teams’ short and long-term requirements are met, alongside creating a technologically-advanced, functional, and beautiful new workplace,” said Shari Kienzle, director of human resources for Newton.

Nova Place encompasses 1.5 million square feet of first-class office space.  Formerly Allegheny Center, Nova Place is part of a multi-million dollar urban renewal project by Faros Properties that is transforming the area.  With new food options including La Prima Espresso, and City Fresh Pasta, a forthcoming 10,000 square feet fitness center, on-site auditorium, and a co-working space dubbed Alloy 26, Nova Place provides an environment for current and future tenants to inspire, educate, and foster growth.

“Newton is a great fit with the other sophisticated firms who have recognized the value proposition at Nova Place and signed up for new or extended leases since Faros took over. They’re moving to the property just as Faros’ vision for a walk-able, amenity-rich office on the Northside is starting to take shape,” said Andrew Miller, First Vice President at CBRE.

Newton’s corporate headquarters, including all administrative functions, will remain in Claysville, Pa.
