What better way to spend a warm fall night then listening to talented local artists, drinking locally brewed beer, feasting on the best food trucks around, and of course, perusing products made by local artisans? Nova Nights was an evening filled with just that. The crowd was filled with families having a fun night playing on the lawn with their children to co-workers stopping by to grab a beer after work.
It was impossible to pass up on the delicious food trucks. Pictured above are delicious Loaded Fries and the in ‘n Aht Burger from Pittsburgh Sandwich Society as well as Hand-cut russet potatoes with three fantastic dipping sauces from The Steer and Wheel. In addition people were indulging in unique styles of mac & cheese from The Mac & Gold Sauce, tasty chili options from Revival Chili, salmon tacos and loaded tater tots from Cool Beans, chicken & waffles from The Coop, and authentic banh mi from Lucy’s Banh Mi stand. To top it off, delicious sundaes and cones from Sugar & Spice were satisfying everyone’s sweet tooth.
Bindley Hardware Co and Nameless in August each took turns serenading the crowd with fantastic tunes. Many took a seat on the lawn benches to enjoy beer brewed by the Grist House or Hop Farm Brewing Co. to enjoy the musicians. Pictured below are neighbors enjoying the performance by Nameless in August.
The I Made It Market was a huge hit! Among the amazing crafts to take home were soaps, paintings, notebooks, coozies, handbags, teas and stuffed animals.
Also among the crowd were a ton of adorable dogs enjoying the last of the nice weather with their owners. From small pups to large ones the Plaza was filled with furry friends!
All in all, it was a really great night to be a member of Pittsburgh’s Community. Nova Place would like to give a huge shout out to Winslo6 for making great use of the Plaza and putting this event together!
