Have you ever been inside a co-working space? Now is the perfect opportunity to see the inside of Alloy 26 all the while helping a good cause. Wednesday, October 18th, The Young Professional Group of Sisterson is hosting an event to collect donations for Beverly’s Birthdays. From 5:30-8:00 p.m. you can check out the space of Alloy 26, network, and grab some light appetizers and drinks. The Professional Group of Young Sisterson asks for a donation of $10 and a present for a child as admission to this event.
Why a present for a child?
Beverly’s Birthdays, a nonprofit organization since 2012, throws birthday celebrations for homeless children in the Pittsburgh area. The organization was inspired by a young girl named Beverly who had never had her own birthday party before. Beverly’s Birthdays works with agencies all over Pittsburgh to provide children with the birthday parties they never had. Since the start of this organization, they have provided over 25,000 birthday celebrations to less fortunate kids!
Your contribution will go towards a fun birthday experience and may very well be the first birthday present a child has ever received!
RSVP for this event by Monday, October 9th to firstname.lastname@example.org to save your spot for not only a great night of networking but a great opportunity to give back to your community!
